Nursing. Breastfeeding. Feeding the baby the boob.

It comes across as controversial but I will say that I had three children and I breast fed them everywhere and nobody ever was rude to me about it. I did this everywhere; restaurants, benches, in the middle of a store as I rested on a chair, etc. Many people smiled at me, actually.

I didn't cover myself up, I would look down and stare at my baby and smile at them. I would purposefully try to memorize the outline of their profile, their chubby fingers, and cherish those moments. It was a break from the rush of life, they are some of my most precious memories.

If it is controversial, then I don't know why. It is natural, it is beautiful, it is healthy, and it is nurturing.
